Ask me about Jesus.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28.
I know every moment of my life has served a purpose. When I looked inside my heart and recall the harm I’d done to others and the sin in my life it reminded me “What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death?” (Romans 7:24) It drew me to the Cross. I needed a Savior.
When I look around at the injustice and the depravity masquerading as “freedom” and “choice” I’m reminded of Romans 1:25.”They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.” This world needs a Savior.
Jesus is that Savior. Our Redeemer. Our Passover Lamb. The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. Alpha and Omega. Our coming King. Who died for us while we were still far away–enemies of God. Who goes to the Throne of God on our behalf. Who was tempted in every way and did not sin but bore our sin. Who could have come down from the cross whenever He wanted, but stayed for me…for you…for us all…
Who will one day welcome me home. No more tears. No more dying. No more good-byes. No more cancer. No more alzheimer’s. No more depression. No more broken heart. Only forever with God.
Ask me about Jesus.
Be blessed
