Nothing makes sense if you don’t believe God is good. He created the Earth and the universe and humanity and said it was good. The first sin was that despite walking with God in Eden, the first time a talking snake lies on God, man believed him. They doubted that God was good. Sin entered the world. Bad things happen and we blame God because we doubt His goodness. If we believe that God is good then we can believe all things work for the good of those that love Him. You see why He would send His Son to die. You would see that the sorrow and pain and war will one day be over. One day the lifetime of human existence will give way to an eternal existence with God for those who believe God is good and Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection proves it.   Then he will wipe every tear from every eye. Hallelujah. God is good.
