I’m about done with the entire election season.
Under the Bush administration, I did ok. Under the Obama administration, I did ok. How much does one really need to be content?
It really….really doesn’t matter who becomes president.
It’s not President Obama who is against God. It’s not Trump who is against God. It’s not Secretary Clinton who is against God. It’s the world. Christians are the remnant. We are the called out. We are the peculiar. We shouldn’t look like, taste like or smell like the world. We do not mourn like those who have no hope.
I’m not saying, don’t vote. Prayerfully vote. I just feel as though some Christians believe that the “right” vote (pun intended) will keep “something bad” from happening. Or turn back the clock to a kinder gentler time.
The following are probably not going to happen regardless of who is elected in November:
No one’s stopping abortions. No one’s putting prayer back in school. (There have been 5 Republican president’s since these Supreme Court rulings.) No one’s putting a stop to the constant flow of filth in our music, movies and tv. No one’s bringing peace to the Middle East. No one’s going to wave a wand and make the deficit go away. No one’s going to end poverty. No one’s going to fix healthcare or Wall Street.
George W. Bush did not in eight years in office and I think he would have if he could. (Although I could be wrong)
Because as our Elder Phil says, “I think our problem is a spiritual one. Where there is no Jesus, evil always reigns.”

Here’s how you make America great. 2 Chronicles 7:14 “IF MY people who are called by MY name will HUMBLE THEMSELVES and PRAY and SEEK my face and TURN from their wicked ways, THEN I will hear from heaven and I will FORGIVE their sins and HEAL their land.”
