Is there a remnant? If you believe the remnant to be the church, I do not agree. The 7000 were among the chosen nation of God, but did not give themselves over to the gods of the surrounding area. So I ask, within the church, is there a remnant? Those that don’t talk like the world and walk like the world and chase after the things of this world? I believe God is up to something.

Paul quotes the 1 Kings verse in Romans and follows with:

[7] What then? What the people of Israel sought so earnestly they did not obtain. The elect among them did, but the others were hardened, [8] as it is written: “God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that could not see and ears that could not hear, to this very day.”

To this very day.

If you are going through a wide gate (and there are many) today is the day to re-evalate. There’s the wide gate of works and no grace and there a wide gate of all grace and no holiness.There are many wide gates.

Choose the narrow gate with the peculiar few. And when people wonder why you’ve chosen not to follow the crowd, boy do you have a story. The remnant. I said 2020 was the year of the remnant. I’m beginning to believe this the the decade of the remnant.
