I just read something that Dr. Ben Carson​ said and I hated it but I agree with it.  If the powers that be in the Republican Party try to prevent the leading candidate from gaining the Republican nomination, do we still have a democracy?  My first thought was “someone has to keep America from doing something insane”.  But the will of the people is American’s backbone.  And the problems we currently have is based largely on the election of people backed more by the money of the wealthy few and the corporations than the will of the people.

I’ll say early, what those with losing candidates will say in November.  No matter who is president, Jesus is still Lord. Nothing will happen that God does not know about.

Romans 13 1Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.  2 Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.
